WELCOME TO PERFECTLY PLACED HOMES!

We transform what you already have into a space that feels perfectly complete.

We began Perfectly Placed Homes with a vision to help family, friends and clients organize and beautify their spaces. Whether it be homes, offices, boutique shops, pantries, bedrooms, etc. we wanted to work together to create an organized and beautiful space without paying designer fees. We also love using what our clients have to re-create and refresh their spaces.

Most of our clients already own beautiful pieces — they simply don’t have the time, clarity, or design expertise to bring everything together. That’s where we step in.

OUR STYLE

We’re drawn to warmth, texture, and natural elements. Fur, antler, pampas grass, leather, iron, and layered textiles create depth and character, while candles, throws, and greenery bring softness and life.

Our spaces blend clean lines with rustic textures — refined, inviting, and perfectly placed.

OUR GOAL

At Perfectly Placed, we transform what you already have into a cohesive, elevated space that feels intentional and complete. When we’re refining a family home our approach is thoughtful styling, smart organization, and details that make all the difference. We create spaces that feel effortless — and entirely yours.

Who We Are

Kacie and Emily are both proud graduates of the University of Idaho, though their paths didn’t cross until years later when their boys became best friends at Riverside Elementary.

Emily, a teacher by trade, and Kacie, a dental hygienist, each loved their careers. But they were ready for greater flexibility and a creative shift. As Kacie completed a home remodel and Emily navigated new builds of her own, it became clear that their shared passion for styling, organization, and transforming spaces was more than just a hobby.

In 2022, Perfectly Placed was born — blending their eye for detail, heart for service, and love of creating spaces that feel both beautiful and livable.

Meet Our Team

  • Growing up in the resort town of McCall, Idaho, shaped who I am today. My love for the outdoors, skiing, rodeos, sports, and community all stem from that small-town upbringing.

After attending the University of Idaho, I moved to Maryland for dental hygiene school. Shortly after graduating, I bought my first home — right next door to one of my best friends. We weren’t afraid to take on projects of any kind. Between drills and table saws, we learned by doing.

Refurbishing and reimagining spaces quickly became my creative outlet — especially through paint. Paint is a true game changer and one of the simplest, most affordable ways to create dramatic transformation. My motto has always been: If you don’t like it, you can’t hurt it. I’ve been known to paint countertops, backsplashes, and even grout in the name of giving a space new life.

My husband, Ben, is a native Idahoan, and together we’ve built both our life and our roots here. As a local business owner, he has watched our community grow and evolve — something we feel deeply connected to.

At the center of it all is our family. Our boys, Brooks, Drew, and dog Banks, keep us busy with high school sports and endless outdoor adventures. They are the heartbeat of everything we do and the reason we work so hard to build a life we love.

  • Hello and welcome! I’ve always loved keeping spaces styled, simple, and clean. From holiday decorating and themed celebrations to refreshing a home for a new season, I find joy in creating thoughtful details that make everyday life feel special.

I love bringing new life to both spaces and wardrobes — designing environments and outfits that feel customized and uniquely personal. Styling has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I was constantly rearranging my room, experimenting with décor and paint, playing dress-up with my sister and cousins, and organizing everything in sight.

Today, I’m blessed with three wonderful boys — Ryan, Jake, and Cole — a mini golden retriever named Gus, and my husband, Jon. Life is full and busy in the best way. I feel incredibly grateful to do work I love while maintaining the flexibility to be present for my family and friends.
